The Lynnwood Community Band is a non-profit, community band made up of adults and teens from around the "greater Lynnwood" area. Our musicians provide accompaniment to the special events that take place in Lynnwood and the surrounding communities. We play tunes at annual concerts for kids, holiday programs, and regularly scheduled concerts filled with all types of music.

Available for Performances

Do you need entertainment for an event? We hope that you will consider the Lynnwood Community Band. We have the ability to diversify and perform as ensemble groups, such as quartets, jazz ensembles and more, in addition to our full concert band. We perform all types of music, and are sure to have something to suit your event. Our performers enjoy getting out into the community and bringing music to the public.

Joining

The Lynnwood Community Band is always seeking performers with a love of music -- people who, like us, want to bring music to our community. There is no fee for joining, we have no dues, and there are no auditions. If you play an instrument and have a love of public performance, you are welcome to join us. We rehearse most Thursday evenings from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Edmonds Church of God (8224 220th Street SW, Edmonds WA). If you would like to join us, just bring a music stand and instrument to our next rehearsal!

Contributions Welcome

The Lynnwood Community Band is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Because our goal is to attract as many musicians as possible to provide music for Lynnwood, we wish to continue allowing our musicians/members to perform without having to pay dues. Therefore, all of our funding is derived from private donations. We have a great need for donors who can help us purchase necessities like music and equipment.
